CAMP-ING
What happens when you put three video artists – who are alike in many ways, but very different in some – up to the same task: to film a weekend away? How have our visual styles grown to be the same, how are they still different? What do we experience as essential in our moments of togetherness? How do we translate this feeling of being away from our everyday city lives into a compilation of nature, of touristing, of playing with our cameras?
Made by the audiovisual collective zorm for our group exhibition ‘Threads of Embrace’ in Antwerp (BE), August ’23. Shown at the exhibition Where Is your Safe Space #2 in Montreux (CH) and at the Pink Screens Queer Exhibition in Brussels (BE), in November ’23.
