Photography series ‘Er trok een bos door de stad’ (A forest roamed through the city) for the municipal executives of Leeuwarden. Shot in the Leeuwarder Bos, inspired by the project Bosk (2022). Eight frames of different trees and their leaves.
I’ve also been collecting daily routines into different formats. One of those are the traces of daily walking routes. The same journey is taken many times. Once physically, then by drawing a line over a digital map, then tracing that line from a screen onto a piece of paper, then tracing the pencil on the paper with Chinese ink gifted to me by my grandmother. Ritualistically moving between data and body.
